Zzz

It felt like public holidays these two days. Is that good? I had a pretty good time sweating it out over a short game yesterday and meeting the clique for dinner (even though best friend and I secretly had dinner prior to the gathering). And then it was a short catch up with my dearest primary school buddy S over a round of mahjong. It was a bad night's sleep because Z's alarm went off 6 times and it was an extremely awful and annoying alarm tone. The good thing being, for the consecutive second morning, I woke up to a storm outside and it just felt refreshing. Best friend and Z and I had our very satisfying Mac breakfast that made me decide I really needed to quit fast food for at least the rest of this month.

So yup, it is Saturday again. Laoshi's daughter spoke up a little more today and that felt quite... accomplishing. I don't know. She is usually reserved and responds to my questions within two lines. Today I shared with her a bit on animal issues and she actually showed some keen interest in the topic. I think it is always a good thing to be able to help one open up.

M had craving for the porridge at Clementi so I met her to have dinner. But we were left disappointed upon the sight of the shut shutters of the stall. We got ourselves the equally delicious popiah instead, and discussed about how the old lady was still as angsty and stern as ever. Then we sat at one corner of the mall and got down to our quarter-life crisis issues. This primary school best friend of mine remains a great and attentive listener, and who is always so willing to share everything about her with me. I am really grateful that even though we only meet once in a blue moon, she is ever so spontaneous and hardly hesitant about listening to my woes whenever I had any. I told her I am learning to appreciate things and people around me more and she is certainly one of those.

I have not had adequate sleep the past two days. I am so going to bed now.
On a side note, I am..... extremely excited about Days of Future Past.

I'll never understand.

Some people, you try to break them before you build them. Some people, you are only remembered by them when they need your help. Some people, you spend time trying to change them only to realise you were never someone who could impact their lives. Some people, they hurt you so much but you know, they are just not worth it. So, don't bother. ASPIRE 2010 was a screwed yet another learning experience for me this time. I'd really like to thank my fellow peers for going through shit with me. And thank goodness that I believe in miracles. You never know what happens until the last minute, really. I never felt so shagged, and devastated about people.

All the small things.

So blonde Neo came with a packet of sushi and my chrysanthemum tea and Mr. Bean's pancakes. We continued to gorge ourselves with cones (actually just 2) of Cornetto which I bought to reward myself after a long time of not having eaten ice cream. We studied and also watched The Family Court. I really feel sad for AhWU that everyones hates his Leshan role but I guess he's right that actors and actresses like to see audiences' reactions towards their acting. What a breakthrough for him! Had supper with Shirl and Eh Chris! at somewhere nearby. Continued to study with Angie and we (or rather I) had a bad night because she was coughing quite badly. Blonde Neo I tell you, you better start drinking bottles of water when you get home today. NO MORE CHIPS!!! I'm watching you.... So anyway, in the morning we had Mac breakfast and Angie FINALLY invited me to her house wheeeeeeeee. Happening hor? Meeting the climates (Auntie Rainbow, Sunshine boy and Rain) later to celebrate mid-aut...
