My heart is uncannily at peace since I left home in the evening. One thing I really, really enjoy these days is having my earpiece plugged in and with Ah-Mei's songs on loop while I'm on the bus. Today was Stephanie Sun's new songs in her new album. They were amazingly effective for healing. I had enjoyed the peace the songs brought me. I love buying stuff at Candy Empire because the snacks there just make the world seem more magical and desirable. I finally got the m&m chocolate bar which I had been eyeing since January. But I decided I will not open it until I have tea with my sis. She likes to call the time we spend together "sister-bonding time" even though we always end up talking crap. On my way to meet Edwin, a guy holding a piece of paper approached me. I thought he was probably going to promote a product or anything of that sort, so I waved to gesture that I wasn't interested. Then I walked off. Thirty seconds later, whatever came over me, I turned back, took off my earpiece and asked him what it was about. He was struggling to speak. I managed to catch that he was selling keychains to raise funds for his medical bills as he is down with an illness. The paper in his hand was a certificate to prove his identity. I was keen to help upon hearing his plight. But I was stuck when I saw that he only had minions keychains to offer. Many a time when I make a purchase in the name of charity I would expect to get something practical. But since I had expressed interest I had to get something from him, even if it was a minion. Thank goodness. In the heap of minions I found a Doraemon couple set keychains, so naturally I made the purchase. Upon leaving I asked him to get well soon and I could see that strong sense of appreciation in his eyes. It is hard to spot something as genuine as that these days. I was pretty glad I turned back after all. I felt good about it.

I guess it can really be a nice thing to know or at least hope others are doing great.

I'll never understand.

Some people, you try to break them before you build them. Some people, you are only remembered by them when they need your help. Some people, you spend time trying to change them only to realise you were never someone who could impact their lives. Some people, they hurt you so much but you know, they are just not worth it. So, don't bother. ASPIRE 2010 was a screwed yet another learning experience for me this time. I'd really like to thank my fellow peers for going through shit with me. And thank goodness that I believe in miracles. You never know what happens until the last minute, really. I never felt so shagged, and devastated about people.

All the small things.

So blonde Neo came with a packet of sushi and my chrysanthemum tea and Mr. Bean's pancakes. We continued to gorge ourselves with cones (actually just 2) of Cornetto which I bought to reward myself after a long time of not having eaten ice cream. We studied and also watched The Family Court. I really feel sad for AhWU that everyones hates his Leshan role but I guess he's right that actors and actresses like to see audiences' reactions towards their acting. What a breakthrough for him! Had supper with Shirl and Eh Chris! at somewhere nearby. Continued to study with Angie and we (or rather I) had a bad night because she was coughing quite badly. Blonde Neo I tell you, you better start drinking bottles of water when you get home today. NO MORE CHIPS!!! I'm watching you.... So anyway, in the morning we had Mac breakfast and Angie FINALLY invited me to her house wheeeeeeeee. Happening hor? Meeting the climates (Auntie Rainbow, Sunshine boy and Rain) later to celebrate mid-aut...
