Appreciation.

Yup it is 6.05 a.m. in the morning now and I am blogging. Simply because there are too many things going through my mind now and I thought I need to pen them down now while they are still fresh. It was a good feeling last night, so good that I still find it sweet as I think back about it. I like the feeling whereby all my good friends who never met or knew one another came together and had fun and laughter together. I like how some of you would shake hands and say "Nice to meet you". That is probably one of the simplest yet most sincere gestures. It was like merging all the good people together, and enjoying the company of all the special people in my life. This is also why I kept emphasizing earlier that I intended this to be a friends gathering, because it is a scenario like this that I've yearned for very long. I'm very thankful for people like Ohanies who were so nice to my other friends and for whatever you all have done. (You all know what I mean!) I know I have many friends who've been waiting for eons to see me cry but trust me, some people do not necessarily cry when they are touched. Maybe I didn't know how to express myself (not with tears) but really, I am very, very touched and of course that comes with a lot of surprise :) Comments from friends made me feel that all the more I must really, really cherish these people. At the same time, while Ohana means a lot to me, the special people who have been around, you are just as important. If given a choice again, I would make the same selection, but I would be better to you all from the start. Now the best I can do is to learn to be a better friend to you all. Thank you, it's been memorable. This good feeling will last me a lifetime, so will the friendships established. Nice to meet you.
