Stronger than yesterday!

I'm in the mood for parataxis now!

1. Fact number 1: Very heavy rain this morning! I lost my poncho (I think my sis didn't return me) so I got one for $5.50 from 7-11 and had a very sumptuous and fulfilling breakfast from the nearby market. Yummiesssssssssss. I saw it later in the news that there were severe floodings in about 5 areas in Singapore today. Just now when I bus-ed home I was thinking why I always don't see floods occuring when one of the areas is so near my place! (not that I'm a sadist lah but I'm just curious how the situation is like)

2. Fact number 2: The Swiss guy admitted he's guilty of vandalism on the SMRT. Actually I think his graffiti is really quite cool BUTTTTTTTTTTT vandalism on public property is a no no! So I'm not an advocate here. And the fact that he cut one of the wires on the track shows that he's being destructive and sad to say that's an act of deviance, at least in our Sg context. There are places that offer people who appreciate graffiti to unleash their potential and I think that is really a very accomodating and thoughtful part on Sg ;)

3. Fact number 3: China raised its renminbi value again and it's at its peak now! Just discussed with CSC students yesterday whether they think the rise of China will pose a threat to the States' leading position and status in international matters and apparently many believe that this is not likely to happen anytime soon. Yet I choose to think that the value of the Chinese dollar will continue to rise of late and US has to constantly keep up with the balance of the economy since the US dollar is still the world currency. And from the conscientious efforts of the CCP in terms of its governance, military, culture and international issues, I believe within the next 50 years, it is not mission impossible for China to be ALMOST on par with US even though it is perhaps still nothing near a megapower.

4. Thank you Badd for your very lovely treat!:D The company of just Rahil and Badd is always a luxury to me and I'm thankful for that. I saw a Blackbird and highly likely I MIGHT just save up to get one.

5. Something a friend said lately struck me today, "Eh don't cao keng (I think it means 'act tough') lah. Everyone has the right to be upset about something." I felt it was kind of hysterical because in the past I REALLY DID try to put up a strong front and sometimes in the hope of people around me realising it. But now that I'm really happy, there are some who think I'm putting up an act. That's fine by me lah but I just think it's just funny huh? But I guess that makes some sense of the line, "Life never makes sense". So, let's get going! And the only reason why I'm penning all these down is NOT to SHOW you that I'm happy now or TRYING to be happy now. But rather this serves as a reminder to me for when I look back at my past entries, I can take this feeling out to feel again and tell myself I've gotten over a very tough period so nothing is that jialat that my world has to stop revolving over anything or anyone!

If you actually read into details this entry, I think you're really a fervent supporter of mine and for that you deserve a ------> (K) !

I'll never understand.

Some people, you try to break them before you build them. Some people, you are only remembered by them when they need your help. Some people, you spend time trying to change them only to realise you were never someone who could impact their lives. Some people, they hurt you so much but you know, they are just not worth it. So, don't bother. ASPIRE 2010 was a screwed yet another learning experience for me this time. I'd really like to thank my fellow peers for going through shit with me. And thank goodness that I believe in miracles. You never know what happens until the last minute, really. I never felt so shagged, and devastated about people.

All the small things.

So blonde Neo came with a packet of sushi and my chrysanthemum tea and Mr. Bean's pancakes. We continued to gorge ourselves with cones (actually just 2) of Cornetto which I bought to reward myself after a long time of not having eaten ice cream. We studied and also watched The Family Court. I really feel sad for AhWU that everyones hates his Leshan role but I guess he's right that actors and actresses like to see audiences' reactions towards their acting. What a breakthrough for him! Had supper with Shirl and Eh Chris! at somewhere nearby. Continued to study with Angie and we (or rather I) had a bad night because she was coughing quite badly. Blonde Neo I tell you, you better start drinking bottles of water when you get home today. NO MORE CHIPS!!! I'm watching you.... So anyway, in the morning we had Mac breakfast and Angie FINALLY invited me to her house wheeeeeeeee. Happening hor? Meeting the climates (Auntie Rainbow, Sunshine boy and Rain) later to celebrate mid-aut...
