HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNHONG. :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOYCELYN. :D
So nice to be back in Singapore. Slept at 1.30 a.m. and woke up at 3.45 a.m. to set off for our Malaysia trip. Super deprived of sleep!
Oh yes. Because yesterday was Shyen's birthday. I texted him and we had a short chat, so I slept so late. =xx
He's like a totally changed person now and it just felt so weird chatting with him. 7 months perhaps but it seemed like we never really started. Oh well. It's nice to hear that he's still with biq after these couple of years though. :)
Kota Tinggi and Desaru are nice places because their pace of life is not as fast as Singapore's. Yet I think I still prefer Singapore's delicacies. :D
On the way there..
I took a picture of the Singapore Flyer!! :D

I think it's beautiful.

Reached Desaru and we had our breakfast first. The roti prata man looked so skilled that I felt I really must have a taste of his roti prata.
And indeed, it was so crispy!

Along the way, I kept playing with this boyboy whose family also went with mine to Thailand two years back. Michievous boy.

Now, lunchtime! I always wondered why my mum dragged me along to this trip that was supposed to cater to seafood lovers when I'm allergic to most seafood. Oh well.
Now, don't salivate at the sight of these delicacies(according to my sis).
Chilli crabs.

Deep fried lobsters.

A small and pathetic chicken but it's one of the few dishes I could eat.

My fave!! Oysters in omelette!

A 'seemingly' boneless fish.

Ostrich farm! But man, what a pessimistic weather to complement. I had mud all over my feet and I really regretted not wearing shoes.

You will exclaim if you see one of these with your own eyes.
A man stood on it and yes, of course it didn't break.

Growing process.
These are the baby ones. So cute!

Do you call these adolescents?

Adults.

This one has a pink butt. Hui Ying do you like it? HAHA. =xx

This handsome bird is trained to feign death in front of visitors to the farm. He's such a pro!

He really scared me, when he stood behind me while I was snapping shots of the handsome bird.

Next was fruit farm. So many types of fruit but we couldn't eat them. I wouldn't dare anyway. =xx
Dragon fruit.

Tired of Ribena? Try this.

Passion fruit.

Arh. I hate these.

I forgot what this is called but don't you think it has a great figure?

Baby brinjals.

Pomelo.

Guava.

My favourite!

I never knew unripe bananas look like these.

What do you think you can find inside them?

On the way out of the fruit farm, I came across what I love most!! Animal farm! I forgot about everyone else and just dashed in!
Baby rabbits look cuter to me.

Stuck within the gaps of the enclosure or something?

Poor father and mother goats were being neglected.

Super-ly cute!

The lovely ones I've been dying to keep as pets since primary school!!!! :(

The dao dao owl on the left seemed as if it was dozing off. Whereas the other one seemed very much like a Casanova to me. Maybe because he has this "I must keep my eyes wide to gawk at pretty girls" look.

Food, again. Only snapped 2 pictures of the food at dinner because most of the dishes were similar to those we had at lunch. It was a filling meal yet again.
Deep fried squids and fried chicken.

The last part of the trip was to take a boat and look at fireflies. The drizzle that never stopped was quite a spoiler. Despite that though, we got to see some shining little things on trees and they sure looked like Christmas trees. A new experience.
The night breeze was satisfying too. :)
