Mahjong with Max Angie and Zhi Wei. I got to believe in 情场失意，赌场得意. LOL. We played ten rounds and of which, I won 9 rounds, with Max winning one round after my 4th round of winning. LOL. If only we've played with money, I'll be filthy rich right now =xxx
So yepps, because they were not too happy with me winning all the time, they decided to penalise me. I played with my tiles opened, so that they could keep whatever tiles I wanted. LOL. As for the last round, all of us played with our tiles opened that Angie actually could still win eventually. LOL =xx
SHOPPING! In an NTUC though. We were so noisy that the Auntie selling fishballs couldn't help but commented that Jian Dong was the only guy, the only quiet one. LOL. Couldn't help it, the combination of Zhi Wei Fel Angie and YC could give a blast. LOL.
Steamboat! Yummies. First steamboat with my dears Angie Fel YC ZW Stheng TH YY and JD. A pity ZR and lao Zhuang were not around, though. Anyway, it saved our pockets a lot cause' we didn't have to spend a lot compared to having such a feast at Marina =xxx Best of all, we caught 2 'movies' without even having to purchase any tics! =xx ICE AGE and A CINDERELlA STORY! Enjoyed loads even though I was watching ICE AGE for the 4th time. LOL.
I'm enjoying every moment spent with this crazy lot. And I have forgotten my misery a little(:
Max can really be crude with his words sometimes but his crude words always make me realise that being optimistic isn't always the best. Indeed, at times, the higher your expectations, the greater your disappointment.
And I really feel blessed for being in the same class as Zhi Wei and there's one more year to come. Who can be as lucky as me? Moreover, she taught me a lot. Today, she said something and I found it really true. 不能以貌取人. I have fallen into the pit once and I'm going to remember these words. Never judge a book by its cover.
I had enough of falling and I'm just so going to stay there for a while longer before I'm up on my feet again.
